Annual Re-Coating

Your court floors should be screened & re-coated every year. A typical gym floor with normal foot traffic will wear through one layer of finish each year. Basketball court keys, racquetball service areas, and aerobic room exercise areas tend to wear much more quickly. In these areas it is normal to wear through two or more layers of finish in a year.
The majority of court floors can be restored by a screen and re-coat. This process is the most inexpensive way to bring back your floors original shine and most importantly build up a protective layer of finish. Most gym floors can be screened and re-coated over a two day period and will be available to play on after 72 hours of dry time.
